Complete Story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Pair of Snow White Preliminary Illustrations by Disney Legend Manuel Gonzales (Walt Disney/Harper and Brothers, 1937). "'Supper!' called Snow White..." The good-natured Snow White prepares a proper meal for the dwarfs in this lovely pair of 12 field 5-peghole preliminary illustrations created for the Complete Story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a storybook released with the film in 1937 by Disney Legend and "Mousecar" award-winning artist Manuel Gonzales (1913 - 1993). Both drawings are rendered in graphite with story and production notes for continuity, reading "check fireplace" with pages 42 and 51. The drawings are marked for pages 51 and 42, respectively, corresponding to the final illustrations in the book. These large drawings nearly fill the sheets, and they are in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear, and faint age-related toning.From the Disney Legend Manuel Gonzalez Archive.
