Complete Story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Evil Queen and Huntsman Preliminary Illustration by Disney Legend Manuel Gonzales (Walt Disney/Harper and Brothers, 1937). "Take the princess into the forest, and return with her heart in this box..." The Evil Queen commands the Huntsman in this vividly detailed preliminary illustration. Disney Legend and renowned comic and publicity artist Manuel Gonzales (1913 - 1993), decades-long penciler and inker for the Sunday Mickey Mouse comic strip and daily Scamp comic strip, created the impressive preliminary illustration for the Complete Story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs storybook that accompanied the film. The graphite drawing showcases every detail of the Queen's throne room, complete with an extravagant throne. The illustration is noted for page 11 in the lower left nearly filling the 12 field 5-peghole animation paper, the drawing is in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and faint age-related toning.From the Disney Legend Manuel Gonzalez Archive.
