Boat Builders Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy Publicity Drawing by Manuel Gonzales Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1938). This is an amazing set of four 12 field 5-peghole color pencil publicity drawings created by Disney Legend Manuel Gonzales (1913 - 1993) for the 1938 theatrical short Boat Builders. The Mousecar Award-winning artist famously made extensive artwork for theatrical posters, lobby cards, press materials, comic strips, and books for the Walt Disney company, known especially for his work on the Sunday Mickey Mouse comic strip. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are all featured here in various iconic scenes from the hilarious short. The drawings range in size from roughly 7" x 6" to 7.5" x 9.5" with incredible detail and charming poses. Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear, and faint age-related toning.From the Disney Legend Manuel Gonzalez Archive.
