DescriptionHyde and Hare Doctor Jekyll Production Cel Setup with key Master Background (Warner Brothers, 1955). "Oh my, there's that concoction... oh, that failing of mine!" Bugs Bunny's friendly benefactor "Doc" turns out to be none other than Dr. Jekyll, in this short directed by Friz Freleng. In this original animation production cel setup, he's about to turn into a monstrous Mr. Hyde; see it at the 2:17 mark in online viewings. This is a hand-inked, hand-painted 2-cel setup, with the Doc's "concoction" on a separate cel. The cels are placed on the matching hand-painted production background, signed by artist Irv Wyner. Just try finding any production art of this character, not to mention a Key Master setup of Dr. Jekyll about to transform into Mr. Hyde! It'll be about as easy as whipping up your own monster concoction! The double image of Jekyll has an overall image size of 3.25" x 5.5". Setup is matted with an opening of 13.5" x 10.25", and framed using glass for an overall size of 23" x 19" x 1". Frame is sold as-is. Setup is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
