    Description

Hot Noon (or 12 O'clock For Sure) Woody Woodpecker and Buzz Buzzard Production Cel and Master Background (Walter Lantz, 1953). This is an original 12 field hand-painted cel on a Master production background from The Old Crow Bar, directed by Paul J. Smith. It was a theatrical cartoon parody of the movie High Noon which was released on 10/12/53. In it, Woody Woodpecker is a piano player in a western saloon doing battle with Buzz Buzzard. It's a beautiful 1950s hand-inked, hand-painted green-eyed Woody and Buzz on a production background. Woody and Buzz measure 4" and 6" on this 12 field cel, placed on a 10.5" x 12.5" background. The piece shows some minor handling wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
