    Description

Horton Hears a Who Jane Kangaroo and Son Production Cel and Production Background Signed by Dr. Seuss and Chuck Jones (MGM, 1970). "If you can't see, hear or feel something, it doesn't exist. And believing in tiny, imaginary people is just not something we do..." , says busybody Jane the Kangaroo from the 1970 Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) directed TV special Horton Hears a Who. Everything about this piece makes it both amazing and one-of-a-kind. The hand-painted image of Jane and her boy is perfectly centered and measures a staggering 8.25" tall on a 12 field cel that's over a hand-painted production background. They are in a 14" x 17" frame and on the mat is written "Jane Kangaroo and Son ("Horton Hears a Who")". The mat is also signed by Chuck Jones and Horton's creator Dr. Seuss (1904 - 1991). This is from the personal collection of June Foray, The First Lady of Animation and the voice of Jane. Condition is Fine. From the June Foray Collection.
