    Heavy Metal Dr. Anrak and Gloria Production Cel (Columbia, 1981). Dr. Anrak, a prominent scientist, arrives at The Pentagon for a meeting regarding mysterious mutations that are plaguing the United States. When he sees the Loc-Nar in the locket of Gloria, a beautiful buxom stenographer. He quickly begins to behave erratically and assaults her around the 49:58 mark just before both are sucked up into an alien spacecraft. This unlikely scenario plays out in the "So Beautiful and So Dangerous" segment of the animated anthology based on the stories of Heavy Metal magazine. Presented in this lot is an original hand-painted production cel of the Dr. attacking Gloria. The nicely centered image measures 9" x 7.5" on a 12 field cel over a print background. It's a captivating image from the Ivan Reitman-produced film that introduced the concept of "robot sex" to the world. It cel is in a 19" x 15" frame with no glass and a mat opening of 14" x 10". Minor handling and condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
