    Description

Hanna-Barbera "Babies" Presentation Piece Original Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1991). This is an amazing look into the creativity of the Hanna-Barbera studio. The Hanna-Barbera "Babies" concept was hatched from a Joe Barbera idea to to showcase classic H-B characters as young children. This is a piece of presentation art with designs by Iwoa Takamoto, featuring twenty-six classic characters as adorable infants! Included are images of Baby Huck, Top Cat, Yogi, Quickdraw, Wally Gator, Snagglepuss, and many others, all just as cute as can be. Each portrait is an ink and color marker original on paper, cut and affixed to a 26" x 17" backing board. While this cartoon series never appeared (and we wonder why, as it seems to have been a fantastic idea), an H-B Limited Edition cel along this theme was released. This incredible rarity comes to us from a longtime H-B executive's private collection. Very Good condition.
