Description
Gustaf Tenggren (attributed) Pinocchio Wolf Marionette Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Some of this film's great art direction styling came from the paintings and artwork of Gustaf Tenggren (1896 - 1970). This drawing is attributed to Mr. Tenggren. It is a rare concept art/character design of a proposed Wolf Marionette in Geppetto's workshop. Art is in graphite, Conté crayon, and colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. This is a great image, measuring 9" wide. Paper is stamped with Joe Grant's "Return to Character Model Department" in the bottom right. A nice look into the making of this masterpiece of animation! Pinholes in top border and slight tear under the wolf's feet. Good condition.Loading guides...
