Gulliver's Travels Layout/Concept Drawing (Fleischer, 1939). "THERE'S A GIANT ON THE BEACH!" says Gabby as he races to King Little's castle to alert the King. This Dave Fleischer-directed animated feature film was released on 12/22/39. It was Fleischer Studios' first animated feature film. This is an outstanding background layout concept drawing of King Little's Lilliputian Castle. We first see the castle around the 6:46 mark when Gabby is racing to alert the king of his beach discovery. Stunning detail work! The drawing has been restored and mounted to a backing board of 12" x 9 .75". Castle and mountain is an impressive 6" tall. Concept art of this nature from Gulliver's Travels is considered very rare.
