    Description

Goofy Studio Model Sheets Print and Original Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1930s). "Garsh!" Model sheets like these were used to teach artists at Walt Disney Studios how to draw the characters with consistency. This is a pair of rare studio model sheets of Goofy. They share a common frame and the top model, titled "The Goof", features three full-figure images of Goofy in different poses, printed on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. The second is a hand-drawn graphite model sheet of Goofy that went on to be revised, printed, and distributed amongst animators and studio artists. It is on 16 field 5-peghole animation paper and the name O'Malley is written in the bottom right corner. Great images of Goofy, including five full-figure and height comparisons with Donald, Mickey, and Pluto. Printed model sheets are considered official studio documents and are highly collectible, and actual pencil model drawings are one-of-a-kind. Framed under glass, and matted with dual openings in a common frame measuring 30" x 24". Some handling wear and toning is evident; otherwise, condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
