DescriptionGil DiCicco DuckTales Magazine "Sleepy Hollow" Preliminary Illustration (Welsh Publishing Group, c, 1988). We use the term "outstanding" a lot, but there's really no better word to describe this incredible illustration! It's in graphite and blue pencil by Chicago artist Gil DiCicco, who has created artwork for Hanna-Barbera and other studios in addition to Disney. This piece is noted in the top right corner as being a poster for the old DuckTales Magazine; we can only assume this was the pencil preliminary, or perhaps a concept piece that was not used, as we have not been able to locate a print. At any rate, it's a must for any die-hard DT fan! The art has an image size of 11" x 16"; it's matted and framed with Plexiglas, for an overall size of 19.5" x 24.5". Fine condition.
