Description

George of the Jungle Closing Sequence 39" x 10.5" Pan Production Background (Jay Ward, 1967). "George, George, George of the Jungle, strong as he can be!" Yeah, but he's always a sucker for "that tree!" Our favorite jungle klutz swings past some impressive and very colorful backgrounds in this show, and here's a big one that can be seen at about the 0:09 timestamp in the George of the Jungle closing credits! It's a pan production background, painted in gouache on an artboard measuring approximately 39" x 10.5". Backgrounds for this beloved animated series from Jay Ward Productions were painted by Sam Clayberger, Jack Heiter, Bob McIntosh, Walt Peregoy, Gloria Wood, and Bob Inman. The art is in Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear.
