Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z Wile E. Coyote Animation Drawings (Warner Brothers, 1956). Wile E. Coyote is hiding behind a "Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z" billboard, ready to chase the Road Runner. He starts the chase, until he runs into a large truck. The chase ends in a win for the truck, and the Coyote emerges battered. A box with director Chuck Jones' credit then squashes him. Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z was directed by the great Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) and released on 5/5/56. In this lot we have two fantastic drawings of the Coyote whose Latin name is Eatius Birdius in the cartoon. The Coyote measures 5" x 5.5" in these two drawings, rendered in graphite on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. The two drawings are floated in a frame of 33.75" x 17.25" under Plexiglas with double mat openings of 12.5" x 10". Frame sold as-is. Screen grab copies are included and affixed to the back of the frame. Mild age-related paper toning, normal handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
