Description

Fun and Fancy Free Train Car Painted Pan Background (Walt Disney, 1947). "This is the story about Bongo. Born in the circus, grew up in the circus, in fact... Bongo was the star of the circus." This is an outstanding pan production background with cel underlay (of the window bars) of Bongo's train car. It can be seen around the 8:16 mark into the film. Backgrounds were painted in this film by Claude Coats, Ed Starr, Ralph Hulett, Ray Huffine, Art Riley, and Brice Mack. This is a stunning gouache painting on trimmed background board measuring 24" x 9.5". Image area takes up 22" x 9". Tape on border, with handling and edge wear, and small paper loss in bottom border, away from painted area. Good condition.
