Description
Fantasia Sunflower Production/Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1940). From the "Pastoral Symphony" sequence of Fantasia, here is a rare vintage hand-inked and hand-painted original production/color model cel featuring Sunflower, a character edited out of the sequence in home media since its theatrical release in 1940. Notorious for her politically incorrect depiction, Sunflower is a very rare and lesser known piece of animation history. This cel shows minor handling and has had some minor professional restoration. The piece is framed under Plexiglas with a circular mat window with a diameter of 7.25" and an overall frame size of 17.75" x 17.75". Extremely rare, condition is Very Good, and the frame is sold as-is.Auction Info
