    Description

Fantasia Sunflower Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). A rare vintage production drawing of Sunflower, a character who was eventually edited out of the "Pastoral Symphony" segment. This character was in the original release, but later removed from all future releases and showings due to the racial stereotype it symbolized. In graphite with red and green highlights on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. Stamped "2004 /4.2/37" with "79" written in the lower right corner and timing sheet notations on the upper right side. Sunflower measures 5.5" tall. In Fine condition.
