DescriptionFantasia "Pastoral Symphony" Baby Pegasus Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1940). This little Pegasus comes crashing down on a branch in this early story/concept drawing from Disney's Fantasia. This masterful concept rendering by animator Ray Jacobs is a very early inspiration for the scene at the 1:15:36 as Peter Pegasus takes wing for the first time. The art is beautifully detailed in graphite with red and rust shading and measures 10.5" x7.75" on 12 field 5-peghole paper. It is hand-numbered and labeled 32 in the lower right corner and bears a Concert Feature stamp on back with the artist's signature. It's a wonderfully expressive and richly illustrated one-of-a-kind piece from the early development of this animated Disney masterpiece. Minor handling, light creases and pinholes in the corner: otherwise, condition is Very Good.
