DescriptionFantasia "Nutcracker Suite" Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). From the blossom ballet, part of Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" in the 1940 feature classic Fantasia, here is a wonderful and large original animation drawing featuring the lead ballerina just before she dances over the waterfall to join her companions. Seen at the 19:49 mark of the innovative and groundbreaking film, this rare piece is rendered in graphite and color pencil, vertically aligned on 16 field, 5-peghole animation paper. The floral dancer measures a very large 11.5" x 8". The paper shows minor handling and edge wear, and it contains production notes with the notation A-142 in the upper right corner. The piece shows minor handling and edge wear, and the condition of this very well-preserved 1940 drawing is Very Good.
