Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty Prince Phillip and the Dragon Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1959). Eyvind Earle said on his work on this film, "I felt totally fine to put my own style into each and every painting." His genius is on display in this stunning concept painting. It's a oversized 23" x 9" gouache piece, showcasing Prince Phillip with the Shield of Virtue and the Sword of Truth battling Maleficent as a fire breathing dragon. Dramatic fire and thorns abound on this one! Maleficent as a dragon is an unbelievable 10" tall. What a painting! Signed in bottom right corner by the artist, Mr. Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000).
