It was first Disney animated film released in Super Technirama 70 mm Widescreen process. This is a simply amazing oversized background Color Key/Concept Art painting of Princess Aurora as Briar Rose with her flower basket, in the forest by the Woodcutters Cottage. The painting is from the hand of Disney Legend Inductee Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000). It is an amazing 23" x 9". It showcases his signature trees, as well as the single most stunning concept painting of the cottage we have ever seen. The colors on this painting are tremendous. The artwork is hand-signed in bottom right. In the film, the entire Briar Rose Forest Sequence would be overseen by one of Disney's Nine Old Men, Eric Larson. The painting is matted and framed with glass for an overall size of 28.75" x 14.75". Fine condition.
