Dumbo Stork with Mr.s. Jumbo Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1941). "Here is a baby with eyes of blue, straight from heaven right to you!" says the Sterling Holloway-voiced stork as he delivers baby Dumbo to Mr.s. Jumbo on the Casey Junior circus train, a tad late. This is a lovely original hand-inked, hand-painted Courvoisier production cel setup, on a Courvoisier hand-painted background. The WDP stamp is on the background in the bottom right corner. Nice image sizes of 4" and 5"; with great colors! Slight rippling, small crack in the Stork's right wing. Framed with Plexiglas; matted with an opening size of 8" x 8", with an overall frame of approximately 18" x 18". Very Good condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
