Dumbo Gorilla Mother and Baby Deleted Scene Storyboard Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1941). Pair of VERY rare original storyboard drawings, presumed to have been meant for the opening scene where the stork visits various animals in the circus -- a bear, a kangaroo, a hippo, a tiger, and a giraffe... but not Mrs. Jumbo, and with no gorilla. Wow! These are very nicely detailed drawings of the mother gorilla beating her chest as baby looks on, and a sweet image of the mother playing with her infant. Art is in graphite and conté crayon on paper measuring approximately 8.25" x 6.75", with image areas measuring 7" x 5.5"-6". Minor handling wear with some light soiling and tack holes. Very Good condition. From the Joe Rinaldi Estate.
