DescriptionDumbo Crows Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1941) "Dumbo, look! Have I got it! The magic feather. Now you can fly!" exclaims Timothy mouse in this seen from Dumbo. The legendary Disney animator and member of Walt's Nine Old Men, Ward Kimble directed the animation for these wise-crackling crows. This original animation drawing features all five - Dopey, Dandy, Deacon, Fats and Specs and this image can be seen at the 58:48 mark in the film. The graphite and colored pencil rendering measures 9" x 6" in 12 field 5-peghole paper. It is hand-numbered 13B in the lower right corner and bears a production stamp in the lower left. These lovable characters stole the show with their song "When I See an Elephant Fly" and finding all five together in a single drawing is exceptionally rare. The piece shows minor handling, creases and some erasures. Condition is Very Good.
