Dumbo Clown Car Storyboard Drawing (Walt Disney, 1941). This original storyboard drawing of circus clowns crashing their clown car is from Disney' fourth animated feature length film. At 64 minutes, it is one of Disney's shortest and original art from it is notoriously difficult to find. This delightful early storyboard featuring the circus clowns performing a Keystone Cops-like gag is rendered in conte and pastel on an 8" x 9" sheet of P-212 5-peghole storyboard paper The image itself measures approximately 7" x 5" and has the number 2 handwritten beneath it and 46 in the lower right corner. The police theme provides a fascinating insight into the development of this story which ultimately turned to fireman gags in the finished film. The art shows handling, smudges and edge wear, Condition is Very Good.
