    Dragons Lair I and II Color Model Cels and Model Sheets Group of 8 (Don Bluth, 1982-1991). In the sequel to the mega-popular Laser Disc video game Dragon's Lair, Dirk marries Daphne and must travel through several dimensions of fairy tales to save her. Alice in Wonderland, Fantasia, and Sleeping Beauty are all referenced in subtle ways. This is a rare set of four hand-painted color model cels and hand-colored matching prints of the cels used in the development of this game. Cel one is a massive cel that has Dirk with wings trying to save Daphne from Centabatcorns. Great images measuring 6" - 10". Cel two is Dirk fighting McCob. This is a nice images of 3" and 8". Cel three is a Centabatcorn, full-figure image measuring 10". The final cel is of the Jabberwocky. This fun image also measures 8". The matching hand-colored pieces all have extensive ink and paint notes. Also in this lot are a set of three studio model sheet of Dirk from the 1983 game. All the prints measure 18" x 14". Minor handling wear, folds, edge wear, and tear. Fair to Good condition.
