    Description

Dragon Around Chip and Dale Production Cel and Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1954). "Ok... to the battle" says Chip after they are done putting on their jousting outfit to take on the fire-breathing tractor Donald Duck is driving, in an effort to take down their tree. Outstanding hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of both Chip and Dale. You can see this image around the 3:10 - 3:32 mark. The short was directed by Jack Hannah, with much of the animation done by Bill Justice. It is considered one of the best Chip and Dale/Donald Duck shorts. Image is 6". Cel is on a great hand-painted Hanna-Barbera production background that works well with the image. The cel is framed with glass for an overall size of 18.25" x 17"; matted with an opening of 11" x 9". Fine condition.
