    Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Grinch and Max Production Cel Signed by Chuck Jones (MGM, 1966). "I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half-foot pole!" Thurl Ravenscroft (the voice of Tony the Tiger as well as the Grinch's singing voice) sings this at the 9:00 mark of this classic TV special. This is a rare hand-painted 12 field production cel of the Grinch and Max, as he completes his Santa costume. Grinch director Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) hand-signed the cel, which includes a Linda Jones seal and a Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity. Max and the Grinch are 3" and 4". Framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 20.25" x 17.5" with an aperture of 12" x 9". Frame sold as-is. Artwork is in Very Good condition.
