    Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production/Presentation Cel Setup (MGM, 1966). "Then he packed up his sled, he packed it up with their presents, their ribbons, their wrappings, their snoof, and their fuzzels, their tinglers, and trappings!" This holiday classic TV special premiered on CBS on 12/18/66. This is an incredible 16 field cel setup of the Grinch with his whip and Max tethered to the sled as they prepare to depart Whoville with everything Christmas from the Who's. You can see this scene around the 18:18 mark. This hand-painted production cel is combined with hand-painted presentation cels of the sled, presents, and Max, created to complete the scene. They are presented on a print background. The setup comes bearing a Linda Jones seal, estate plate-printed Chuck Jones signature and comes with a Linda Jones Letter of Authenticity. This oversized cel setup displays an image measuring a whopping 11" x 7" of a key scene in a true holiday classic. Condition is Fine.
