Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cels Sequence of 3 Signed by Chuck Jones (MGM, 1966). "Then he stuck his head out of the fireplace flue... ...where the little Who stockings hung all in a row. These stockings -- he Grinched -- are the first things to go." Here's a rare offering! In this lot are three sequential production cel setups from the key scene where the Grinch uses a super strong magnet to remove the nails from the Who stockings. We see this scene at or around the 12:51 mark. The setups consist of original 12 field hand-painted production cels mixed with hand-painted presentation cels of various elements like the stockings in the first and second pieces and the Grinch Santa costume in the second. All three setups are placed over copy/prints of the original background and signed by the legendary animator Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). The first and third pieces are hand-signed by Chuck Jones. The second piece is an estate signature. All three have Linda Jones seals in the bottom left. This is an exceedingly rare offering - we've never seen production cels in sequence from this perennial holiday classic! Condition is Fine.
