    Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel Signed by Chuck Jones (MGM, 1966). "And the sleigh started down for the homes where the Whos lay a-snoozing...." Great hand-painted production cel of Max and his plight of pulling the Grinch's Sled. Max is falling behind on this journey! Wonderful image of Max and the Grinch, seen at around the 10:55 mark into the film. Hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a print background. The setup is framed to 21" x 18.5" with a matboard aperture of 11.5" x 9". Frame sold as-is. The cel is hand-signed by the legendary animator and director Chuck Jones. A Linda Jones seal is on the piece and a Linda Jones COA comes with the lot. Condition is Very Good with the cel lifting away from the background.
