Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel Signed by Chuck Jones (MGM, 1966). "It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags ...Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps -- means a little bit more." This is an original hand-painted 12 field production cel from this enduring Christmas special created by two legendary characters in their own right Theodor Geisel and Chuck Jones. This instantly recognizable image of the title character measures approximately 8.5"tall, bears a Linda Jones holographic seal and is signed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). This key scene leads into the moment where the Grinch is transformed into a Christmas-loving friend of the Whos. The cel is paired with a background copy/print for presentation purposes. Minor production handling. Cel is in Very Good condition.
