Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Max Animation Drawing (MGM, 1966).
From one of the funniest scenes in this perennial holiday favorite, here is an original animation drawing of Max as he finds himself pulled by the sleigh instead of pulling it. Ahead of Max is the Grinch on the sleight as it leaves the frame. The entire image measures approximately 2.5" x 10.5" and is rendered in graphite and blue pencil on official MGM Animation/Graphics 3-peghole paper. The drawing is numbered 24B in the lower right corner and bears a production sequence stamp in the lower left. There is only one animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas and production art from this beloved television classic is increasingly harder to come by. There are some smudges on the right side of the artwork and the paper shows minor handling; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
