Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Max and Grinch Animation Drawing and 1 of 1 Cel (MGM, 1966). "And they'll sing. And they'll sing. And they'd SING! SING! SING! SING... I must stop this whole thing!" says the Grinch to Max as he begins to put his plan together to stop the Whoville Christmas. This scene can be found around the 6:42 mark into the short. Here is an outstanding original 12 field animation drawing of the Grinch with Max from this scene, with great images measuring 3" and 8". The drawing is signed by animation legend and director of this classic television special, Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Framed with this production drawing is a 1 of 1 limited edition hand-painted cel made from this drawing. Both are in one common Plexiglas-front frame measuring 35" x 20". A Linda Jones seal is on both the cel and drawing; a Linda Jones COA is on back of the frame. Double aperture mat openings are 12" x 9". Outstanding two-character image! Frame is sold as-is. Condition of the drawing and cel is Very Good.
