Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Blue-Eyed Grinch Production Cel (MGM, 1966). "He brought everything back, even all the food for the feast. And he himself, the Grinch, carved the roast beast!" Upon discovering the error of his Grinchy ways, the Grinch transforms from cold-hearted and red-eyed to the good-natured blue-eyed friend to all Whos. This is an original hand-painted production cel of the very rare blue-eyed Grinch carving the roast beast at the film's finale. At this heartwarming scene around the 24:19 mark, the Grinch prepares to cut off a slice of roast beast which Cindy Lou Who serves to Max the dog. This outstanding image of the title character measures approximately 6" x 6", is presented over a matching print background and bears a Linda Jones holographic seal. This key scene sums up the moral of the story and is a must-have for any Grinch, Chuck Jones or Dr. Seuss collector. Matted with an opening of 12" x 9 with an overall size of 18" x 15". Minor handling and condition is Very Good.
