Description
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas "Fah-Hoo Damoos" RARE Oversized Giclée Print Signed by Chuck Jones #116/200 (MGM, 1966/1997). Grinch carves the roast beast as little Cindy Lou Who and Grinch's dog Max happily watch, in this glorious and long-sold out large giclée print is based on an original painting by Chuck Jones. It shows the concluding scene from the television special, from about the 24:18 timestamp. This comes after the Grinch's heart grew three sizes larger and his blood-red eyes turned blue, which made for a wonderful happy ending to this Dr. Seuss story. The hand-signed giclée print has an image area of approximately 23.75" x 17.75" on deckled-edge art paper measuring 28.25" x 22". The print is matted and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 37" x 31". On the back of the frame is a Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity; in addition, there's a second signature and an inscription by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002)! There are a few scratches on the frame's Plexiglas. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The print is in Fine condition with very light handling wear.Auction Info
