    Description

Donald's Penguin Donald Duck Production Cel on Studio Production Background (Walt Disney, 1939). This is an early hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of Donald on a hand-painted Disney Studio production background from a short, written by Disney's master of all things duck, Carl Barks (1901-2000). Mr. Barks is best known for his work on Uncle Scrooge, but served as both artist and writer at Disney. The fantastic full-body image of Donald measures approximately 3.5" x 3.5" and is presented over a pastoral watercolor background from an unknown studio production. Framed under glass, both cel and background work flawlessly together. There is a small crack in the white paint on Donald's torso: otherwise, condition is Very Good.
