Description
Donald's Garden Donald Duck Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1942). Farmer Donald needs to water his prize-winning watermelons, but his rickety old water pump doesn't want to cooperate, in this wild "Angry Donald" sequence of three original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings. Dick Lundy was the director; the short was first shown in theaters on 7/12/1942. Donald's short temper is nicely displayed in these drawings, which can be seen beginning at the 2:24 mark in online viewings. The art is in graphite with green pencil shadow lines and blue pencil under-drawing on one; Donald stands about 3.25" to 3.75" tall. The drawings are noted in the lower right corner as 68, 69, and 70.
