Description

Donald's Garden Donald Duck Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1942). Farmer Donald needs to water his prize-winning watermelons, but his rickety old water pump doesn't want to cooperate, in this wild "Angry Donald" sequence of three original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings. Dick Lundy was the director; the short was first shown in theaters on 7/12/1942. Donald's short temper is nicely displayed in these drawings, which can be seen beginning at the 2:24 mark in online viewings. The art is in graphite with green pencil shadow lines and blue pencil under-drawing on one; Donald stands about 3.25" to 3.75" tall. The drawings are noted in the lower right corner as 68, 69, and 70. Condition is Very Good with minor handling and light age-related paper toning.
