Donald cooly tries not to anger Drill Sergeant Pete, whistling as he marches by, in this original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing. This classic cartoons, the first of six WWII propaganda shorts featuring Donald in the Army, was directed by Jack King, and released on 5-1-42. Carl Barks was one of the writers, along with Jack Hannah and Harry Reeves. The art is in graphite and green pencil, with an image size of 5", and has the number 43 written in the lower right corner. Fine condition with light handling wear.
