Private Donald Fauntleroy Duck marches along, whistling a happy tune, in this great original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing. Donald Gets Drafted was the first in a six-part series of wartime cartoons about Donald in the US Army; this one was written by Carl Barks and Jack Hannah with Harry Reeves, and directed by Jack King. The full-figure image of Donald is about 5", drawn in graphite and green pencil. The number 68 is written in the lower right corner. Slight handling wear; Fine condition.
