    Donald Duck Donald's Golf Game" Publicity Drawing Original Art (Walt Disney, 1938). Written by both Jack Hannah and Carl Barks, this short featured Donald and his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. It was directed by Jack King and released on 11-4-38. Created on 12 field animation paper, this fantastic publicity drawing is graphite and red pencil with an image area of 10" x 8". The cartoon had a page in the July 1938 issue of Good Housekeeping to promote the coming short and the story was used in Mickey Mouse Magazine #38 in November of 1938, where it garnered the nephews their first comic book cover appearance. This stunning piece comes matted next to a Studio publicity letter on gold embossed Disney Studio Publicity Department letterhead that gives a typed overview of the plot. Glass front framed to 29" x 18" and in Fine condition.
