Donald Duck and His Nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie Original Book Art (Walt Disney, 1940). D.C. Heath and Company began publishing Disney children's books in 1939 and the first four books released were Donald Duck and His Friends, Little Pigs Picnic, School Days in Disneyville, and Mickey Never Fails. Illustrated by "The Walt Disney Studio" appears on each book's title page. Hand-inked, hand-painted cels created at the world-famous Disney Ink and Paint Department were used for the illustrations, giving them more vibrant colors than traditional illustration methods. This is a rare cel of Huey (red sweater), Dewey (blue sweater), and Louie (green sweater) used to make page six of D.C. Heath's book Donald Duck and His Nephews. The book was published in 1940. A copy of the book cover and page six are included. The artwork and copies are housed in one frame of 26" x 16" with a triple aperture matboard. The cel exhibits mild warping with some mild smudges. Overall condition is Very Good.
