Don Quixote Concept Original Art (Walt Disney, 1967). The Walt Disney Studio has taken stabs at turning Don Quixote into a company film project many times in the '40s, '50s, '60s, and early 2000s. This is an important piece of concept artwork for the ill-fated project by Disney legend Walt Peregoy, the noted avant-garde artist who worked at Disney from 1951-1964, and then again from 1974-1983. His work for the House of Mouse includes Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Paul Bunyan, Mary Poppins, The Sword in the Stone, and The Jungle Book, to name a few. He returned to work on design elements of Epcot in Orlando, Florida. This amazing piece of original artwork is signed by Walt Peregoy and dated 1967. "Titles for Don Quixote" is inscribed along the border. This stunning mixed media work in Conte crayon, charcoal, and graphite measures 23" x 5", and is matted to 29.75" x 12". In Excellent condition.
