    Description

Dog Gone People Elmer Fudd Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1960). It looks like Elmer just lost his shirt playing poker at the saloon! Actually, this is a rare original 12 field production cel of Elmer from the Robert McKimson-directed short Dog Gone People, released on 11/12/60. This is the one where Elmer has to watch his boss's dog, Rupert. You can see this image around the 4:33 mark. This short featured Hal Smith as the voice of Elmer, after Arthur Q. Bryan had passed away. The cel features a great image of Elmer, measuring 5.5"; the cel is on a Western-themed print background for presentation purposes. Warner Brothers animator and younger brother of Robert McKimson, Charles McKimson (1914 -1999) added his signature on the cel, which is matted with an opening size of 11" x 9", and overall mat size of 17" x 14.5". Very Good condition.
