    Description

Doctor Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch Storyboard Drawing and 1 of 1 Fine Art Giclee (MGM, 1966-90s). "Then he growled with his Grinch fingers nervously drumming... 'I must find some way to keep Christmas from coming, for tomorrow I know..." Rare original MGM studio storyboard with a close-up of the Grinch's bloodshot eye. This is where he imagines all the Whoville joy. The eye close-up is at about 2:57 mark into the short. This is a rare graphite and marker storyboard panel, with Grinch dialogue in the bottom border. It has an MGM Lion logo in the lower right, and is hand-signed by animation legend and director of this TV classic, Mr. Chuck Jones (1912-2002). It is framed with Plexiglas to an overall size of 13.5" x 12.75", with a mat opening size of 6" x 5". The storyboard comes with a Linda Jones Letter of Authenticity. The lot also comes with a canvas Fine Art Giclee. It was at this point an edition of only ONE; it includes a Linda Jones Certificate stating that it was a prototype for a possible Linda Jones Enterprises future limited edition. It is a massive size of 45" x 50" unframed.
