Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel Setup and Storyboard Drawing (MGM, 1966). "And the sleigh started down for the homes where the Whos lay a-snoozing...." Great hand-painted production cel of Max and his plight of pulling the Grinch's Sled. Max is falling behind on this journey! Wonderful image of Max, the sled, the bags and a partial image of the sled-driving Grinch. The two cel setup is on a print background for presentation purposes. A Linda Jones seal is on the cel and Linda Jones COA comes with the lot. Nice Image of all three of 8". This image can be seen at about the 10:55 mark into the film. As a bonus, a rare original storyboard drawing of Max losing his sled collar is included, drawn in graphite and watercolor/marker on 6" x 6" MGM Storyboard panel. PLEASE NOTE: Both the production cel and storyboard have been hand-signed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Fine condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
