Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel and Storyboard Drawing (MGM, 1966). "They rush for their toys... and all that NOISE, the NOISE, NOISE, NOISE... there's one thing I hate -- all that NOISE NOISE NOISE NOISE!" The Grinch utters these lines on why he hates Christmas so much at approximately four minutes into the film. This is an outstanding hand-painted production cel of the Grinch in his "anti-noise" rant. A large, simply unbelievable 9" pose that almost takes up the entire cel. The cel includes a Linda Jones seal, and was hand-signed by the film's legendary director, Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 1994). As a bonus, a rare original 6" x 6" hand-drawn and hand-painted MGM storyboard of the Grinch continuing his rant: "And there's something I hate most of all... they start singing!" The dialogue is written within the bottom border of the storyboard. Also note: the storyboard has been hand-signed by Mr. Jones as well -- that's two signed Chuck Jones production pieces in this lot! The storyboard is framed with Plexiglas, with a mat opening of 6" x 6". Fine condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
