    Description

Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Production Cel and Animation Drawing (MGM, 1966). "'All I need is a reindeer!' So he took his dog Max and he took some black thread and he tied a big horn on the top of his head!" Reindeer Max totes the oversized sack of Whoville presents in this original hand-painted production cel, with a great 4" image. Max has that classic Chuck Jones facial expression that says it all! The cel is on a print background for presentation purposes. As a bonus, the matching 12 field animation drawing is also included. Both have a Linda Jones seal and COA, and both pieces were hand-signed by the film's director, animation legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Max is a hard character to find as production art, but you'll get double the Max with this lot! Fine condition. From the Chuck Jones Archives.
