Disneyland "Country Bear Jamboree - Bear Country" Park Sign Prototype Artwork Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1972). "The Country Bear Jamboree" opened in Disneyland on March 4, 1972. The "Bear Country" section of Frontierland was a "Honey of a Place." This is a rare set of original art from the Disneyland Sign company. They were hand-drawn prototype/mock-ups for park signs that pointed to the "Mile Long Bar." This bar had mirrors causing an optical illusion of being a mile long. It closed in 1988. The Mile Long Bar was located in the rear of Bear Country. Signs also include artwork for Bear Country including Mile Long Bar, Wilderness Outpost, and restrooms, as well as third mock-up for the Wilderness Outpost. Mixed-media artwork in graphite and marker on paper panels of 15" x 6". Each panel is mounted to board measuring 22" x 10". The Main Country Bear Jamboree characters are used in all three mock-ups of original artwork. Any and all Country Bear Jamboree and Bear Country artwork is considered very rare. Very Good condition.
