DescriptionDisney Nursery Rhyme Book Painted Cel Illustrations Group of 3 (Walt Disney, c. 1970s). Three hand-painted cel and background illustrations make up this lot. First, we have a group of Hiawatha-type Indian boys for the nursery rhyme "Ten Little Indians." This piece includes most of the original text and the black line art (printed) on the top cel, with painted colors on the second cel; background art (blue cloud-like blobs of color) are painted in watercolor/gouache on illustration board. The Indians art has an approximate size of 3.5" x 4.25". The Three Little Pigs appear on the "Shortnin' Bread" page, atop a giant slice of bread; same two-cel and illustration board setup, with image area of each pig at 2" -2.25". Text type is missing, leaving a glue stain on the top cel. Finally, we have Gus and Jaq from Cinderella, joined with friends for "Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush" (one page only of 2-page spread; second page has been cut off. Same setup; image area of mice and bush measures 5.5" x 4.75". Text is missing. Good to Very Good condition.
